Chelsea Cavanaugh is a indie singer-songwriter from Albany, NY. She started performing solo shows at the age of 13 and by the time she turned 15 she had formed a self-titled country band and started playing country festivals and fairs around the state. Chelsea has had the opportunity to share the stage with national country artists including Sheryl Crow, Eric Church, Darius Rucker, Trace Adkins, and many more. In 2013 she released her first album “Simply” of 11 original songs and was invited to open the Taste of Country Music Festival.
Since arriving at Berklee College of Music in 2014, she has been focused on her studies as a music therapist and rebranding her sound from country/pop to a more acoustic indie vibe. She hopes her heartfelt lyrics and authentic presence are what will really reach audiences as she navigates this new and exciting journey with her music.
